atinkerersnotebook: Dynamics R3 On Azure Hosting Is Great But On goERPcloud Is Just Tool Cool For School
Источник: http://atinkerersnotebook.com/2014/0...ol-for-school/
==============

If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a hundred times. People always want to get access to a demonstration version of Dynamics AX that they can test drive. There is something very special about being able to work through scenario yourself. I guess ERP is just like a car, in that you need to get behind the wheel rather than be chauffeured. The problem is that in the past, this involved setting up a new server, configuring the software, and also getting the test system licensed with Microsoft which is easier said than done, so we always shy away from it. Lifecycle Services and Azure Hosting has made this better because now you can rent space on Azure and fire up a VM within 10 or so minutes.

But today I was introduced to goERPcloud, and I have to admit this is a super cool offering. They offer a free trial service for test driving Dynamics AX R3 where you can sign up for a 30 day trial, without having to give them a single digit of your credit card number. I didn’t buy it either, but I tried it out and gosh darn it – it worked like a charm.

goERPcloud is the CreditKarma for Dynamics AX hosting.

How To Do It…

To try this out for yourself, go to goerpcloud.com and click on the Start Free 30 Day Trial button.

Choose the ERP version that you want to run the trial on – of course you will be choosing AX.

This will take you into the 4 step registration form. Start off with a little bit of information.

Then your company name, website and e-mail.

Note: Your website domain needs to match your e-mail domain.

Enter the user details for the ERP user within Dynamics AX.

And then give them the obligatory demographic information.

Within minutes you will have a validation e-mail that confirms you are who your e-mail said you were.

And seconds later you will have your login information.

Clicking on the link will take you to a terminal services application browser. Just double click on the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 link.

How It Works…

And you will be a believer as well because you will now be running within the standard demo instance of AX.

All I can say is WOW!
