Layer codes from license file or from DB
Does anyone knows how to get the cus, var, bus, etc etc, from the DB.
I have de license file, witch have all I need, but I don't have de layer codes. I look forwards from the sysconfig table, and get the description from SysLicenseCodeReadFile::codeDescription(sysConfig.Id)); But the layer codes.. nop. Where are those stored? Thanks. |

Vadik, thanks for your answer.
The thing is I have the license from ***BOARD. Is a great license, but in the txt there are only the codes for the modules, and as far I've seen, I have access to var and bus layer. But I don't have those codes. It seems, DAX make those codes in runtime, when you load the license, but I really don't know where are those stored, because they aren't in the sysConfig Table, like the others. I didn't get it what you mean exactly with codeletter, I remember something about that.. but.. my mind is clear right now. I would appreciate any help. Thanks againg. You mean you just downloaded this licence from some forum in internet? If yes I'm afraid we can't help you. Unfortunately axforum doesn't have rules in english (only in russian), but nevertheless our rules DO NOT allow sharing cracks, license files, warez, discussing how to unlock any software, etc. I hope you understand us.

Why do you need these codes? You can modify any X++ code from var and bas layers without them. But in this case your modifications will be stored in the usr/usp layers. |

Yes, you are right. I can still make modification in usr layer, and it works perfect.
It was only something flying in my mind from a long time ago. Please, delete the thread if I broke any rulez, that wasn't my point at all. Sorry, and thanks a lot. |

At least for now this thread is not against our rules since there are no illegal information/content. Furthermore, this thread now have some usefull information about the codeletter. I've just edited the forum name in your post.
