Hi everybody!

Two weeks ago I started working on installing and configuring the NAV/CRM connector for Microsoft Dynamics. My first challenge was to obtain the product key . This is the reason for this post because I am asked very often how to obtain the license key which is required during installation.

Firstly you need access to partner source, so partners are the only one who can obtain the license key.

Secondly if it is for a customer he needs an active maintenance plan to get a key.

Obtain a key for the customer

1. Sign in into partnersource (https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource)

2. Select VOICE

3. Moving on going to “My customers” looking for he specific one

4. Click on the specific customer name



5. Click on Registration Keys

6. Select your Version (2009) and move on by “Download license”



7. Moving on scrolling down at the bottom of this webpage

8. Here you are – copy and paste the license key in the installer window



Obtain a key for the partner (internal use)

1. Sign in into partnersource (https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource)

2. Select VOICE

3. Moving on going to “ License Key configuration ”



4. Select or create a new configuration to get the license

5. Click on the version 2009 hyperlink – which usually is used for downloading the NAV license



6. Moving on scrolling down at the bottom of this webpage

7. Here you are – copy and paste the license key in the installer window
