new to ax and frustrated

Hello,

I am total new to ax and I trying to learn it. I am using 2009 and what I am trying to do I would think should be simple (I just can’t get it).

I have created a custom form that has a textbox, a button and a grid. When the user enters text into the textbox and clicks the button I want to return with the grid populated given what the put in the text box. I have two datasources and I simply want to join them together to display the data.

Can anyone please help me with this? ( i have been looking for examples for hours)
